Product Information
The Boss Equestrian Davina Riding Socks Double B are thin, elastic riding socks from the FW26 collection. They are knitted from a lightweight 62 gsm nylon-elastane blend, taking up minimal space in your boot. This is exactly what you want: the less fabric there is between your calf and the boot shaft, the less your fit changes and the better you can feel contact with your horse.
The sock features the Double B logo in TPU metal print. This print is applied directly to the knit instead of being woven in, preventing a thicker thread structure on the inside that could chafe against your skin.
Boss Equestrian provides the Davina with a foot brake under the foot. Socks that slide down inside your boot create a crease under your heel or ball of the foot, precisely where you need your support point in the stirrup when riding. A grip zone that holds the sock in place prevents you from having to dismount halfway through a training session to adjust your boot.
Additionally, the sock has a reinforced toe and a pre-shaped heel. The toe wears out fastest because it rubs against the toe box with every step; extra material there extends its lifespan. The pre-shaped heel ensures the sock follows the angle of your foot instead of running like a straight tube over your ankle, which limits the number of seams and creases in a sensitive area.
The composition is 94% nylon and 6% elastane. Nylon is durable and quick-drying, while the elastane ensures the sock retains its tension and doesn't sag after washing. Wash at 30 °C; do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, and do not tumble dry.
Please be aware of one thing: Boss Equestrian does not specify the shaft height for the Davina. Therefore, we do not know if these socks are knee-high or shorter. If you are specifically looking for a knee-high sock to wear with tall riding boots, choose a model for which the height is specified. And if you primarily need warmth on cold winter days, a thicker thermal sock would be a more logical choice than this light 62 gsm knit.
