Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The Boss Equestrian Andrew Forato Competition Jacket for men is designed for riders who want to excel in the arena with a combination of technical performance and refined style. This competition jacket radiates the characteristic Boss Equestrian elegance while offering the comfort and freedom of movement needed during a test or course.
The technical stretch fabric follows every movement of the upper body, allowing you to ride freely and relaxed. This is especially important when riding precise dressage tests or when flexibility is required during show jumping. The breathable properties of the fabric help to wick away heat and moisture, so you stay comfortable even under competition pressure.
The precisely tailored cut creates a modern, sporty look with a perfect balance between elegance and functionality. Subtle Boss Equestrian details and high-quality finishing give the jacket an exclusive look that perfectly matches a professional competition outfit.
Whether you ride at a regional level or have international ambitions: with the Andrew Forato competition jacket, you choose a jacket that supports performance while making a powerful impression in the arena.
