LeMieux Arika Dressage Bridle

This bridle comes in Cob and Full; the brown version is offered in Full. Measure your current bridle and pick the size where the cheekpiece and noseband fasten in the middle of their adjustment range.

A crank noseband does not need a tighter setting than an ordinary noseband. Fasten it so you can still slide two fingers easily between the strap and the nose, and check that it stays well below the cheekbone. Look at the adjustment again after the first few rides, as new leather gives a little.

Do not use a greasy balm on the patent sections: wiping them with a soft damp cloth and buffing them dry is enough. Treat the remaining leather regularly with saddle soap or leather balm. Hang the bridle on a wide bracket so the padded headpiece keeps its shape.

Choose this model if you ride dressage and want a wide, padded bridle with a crank noseband and a glossy finish. It is a logical choice for horses that build up tension in the poll quickly.
