Product Information
The LeMieux Merino+ Anatomic Dressage Girth Cover is a wool girth cover that LeMieux designed for the LeMieux Gel-Tek Anatomic Dressage Girth. Its dense, soft Merino+ layer is made of 70% merino wool and 30% acrylic and is 18–20 mm thick. For riders who want to give their leather Gel-Tek girth a soft, washable layer, in Natural or Black.
About this girth cover
A girth cover slides around your girth to put a soft layer between girth and horse. LeMieux made this anatomic cover specifically for its own Gel-Tek Anatomic Dressage Girth, so the shapes of cover and girth match.
The material is Merino+, an Australian blend of 70% merino wool and 30% acrylic. LeMieux describes it as a dense and soft wool structure. Uncompressed, the layer is 18–20 mm thick. The backing is flexible, so the cover can bend with the girth. According to LeMieux, Merino+ washes better and dries faster than ordinary wool.
The cover fastens with hook and loop. Elastic ends keep it in place around the girth. If the cover is too long for your girth, LeMieux says you can trim it to length.
