Horseware Amigo Bravo 12 Pony Turnout Lite Rug 0g

Use this 0g rug in rain and mild weather. When it turns colder, attach a Horseware liner rather than switching straight to a warmer rug. Horseware does not state a temperature range, so check under the rug regularly to make sure your pony is not sweating or cold.

Try the rug on when it arrives and check which closures and surcingles are present. Adjust them so the rug does not press on the withers and cannot slip: a flat hand between surcingle and belly is a good guide.

This turnout sheet suits a pony in size 85/130/4.3 that lives out in wet, mild weather and does not need any fill.

If you want to be sure of an included detachable neck cover, choose the Horseware Amigo Bravo 12 Plus Pony; it also comes in 85/130/4.3 with 250g fill for ponies that need more warmth. For a miniature horse or a smaller pony, the Amigo Ripstop 900D Plus Petite Turnout is the better fit.

Place the rug calmly on the back, fasten the front closure first, then the surcingles and the tail cord. To remove the rug, work in reverse order. Machine wash at 30 °C with all Velcro and clips closed, line dry and store it dry in a breathable bag, away from damp, heat and sunlight.

Is a neck cover included?
That has not been confirmed for this version. If you definitely want a detachable neck cover, choose the Amigo Bravo 12 Plus Pony.

Is this rug warm enough for winter?
Not on its own: it has no fill. For cold weather, attach a Horseware liner to the liner loops or choose a rug with fill.

How do I measure my pony for a Horseware rug?
Measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, to the middle of the tail. Take 10 cm off that length and choose the nearest size.
