Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
The Acavallo Front Riser Gel Pad Classic is a smart and effective solution for riders who want to optimize their saddle balance and increase their horse's comfort. This saddle pad with a raised front piece is specifically designed to subtly lift the saddle at the front, which is ideal for horses where the saddle sits too low at the front or needs extra support around the withers.
The use of Acavallo Classic Gel ensures excellent shock absorption and even pressure distribution. This reduces peak loads and better protects the horse's back, even during intensive training sessions. At the same time, the gel smoothly follows the horse's movements, maintaining its natural freedom of movement.
The anti-slip properties of the gel ensure that both the pad and the saddle remain stable, without unwanted shifting. This gives the rider more security and contributes to a quieter, more balanced seat.
Ideal for daily use or as a targeted correction for fit problems. This front riser pad is a practical and effective choice for riders striving for optimal saddle balance and maximum comfort for their horse.
