Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
Lister A2/AC Medium Blade – 2.5 mm
The Lister A2/AC Medium Blade 2.5 mm is a reliable and versatile clipper blade, ideal for riders and groomers who want to give their horse a neat, well-groomed finish without clipping the hair completely short. This medium cutting blade leaves a hair length of 2.5 mm, which is perfect for general grooming and maintenance.
Thanks to its clever design with self-cleaning teeth, the blade remains free of blockages, even with intensive use or thicker coats. This ensures a consistent, even cut and makes clipping more comfortable for both horse and user.
The ribbed back provides extra grip and helps to limit heat build-up, keeping the blade cooler for longer during use. This increases comfort and reduces the chance of irritation for the animal.
Made from high-quality, wear-resistant materials, this clipper blade is designed for long-lasting performance. Ideal for daily use, both in the stable and professionally.
Why choose the Lister A2/AC Medium Blade:
Leaves 2.5 mm of hair: perfect balance between grooming and protection
Self-cleaning: prevents blockages during clipping
Consistent cut: even and professional result
Cool in use: less heat build-up
Durable: wear-resistant and suitable for intensive use
