Product Information
The Bucas 2020 Travel Boots are travel boots for horses that regularly go on the road by trailer or lorry. They are a thickly padded model with an anatomical fit, built to protect the leg while loading, travelling and unloading. You choose them when you want protection that keeps the leg sheltered and dry without restricting movement. They work equally well for a short trip to the arena and for a long journey.
About these travel boots
The outer side is made from a sturdy nylon layer. It keeps out wind and rain and stands up to knocks and abrasion, even with a horse that shifts about on the way. That keeps the boots usable under intensive use.
Inside sits the Bucas Stay-Dry lining. It works like a cooler rug: it wicks moisture away from the leg, so the legs stay dry and the boot stays fresh. Useful for horses that sweat from tension or from heat in the trailer.
The padding is thick and moulds around the leg. The leg gets support and knocks are absorbed, while the range of motion stays intact. The anatomical shape follows the line of the leg, which keeps the boot where you put it.
The closures are well placed, so you can fasten the boots quickly and evenly, even when you are loading on your own. For a horse that finds travelling stressful, the value lies in that combination: dry legs, support and a fit that does not pinch.
