Does your horse need a little more room around the chest? Our Chest Expander ensures a perfect fit for every blanket. It's universal and fits blankets with the same closure type (such as the Horseware Amigo blanket).

The Chest Expander is perfect for horses with a broad chest or horse breeds such as the Quarter Horse.

Fabrics & materials
The exterior of the Chest Expander, quilted with vegan wool, is made of 600D polyester and features diamond-pattern stitching. This makes it a perfect match for our stable rug. The exterior fabric is tear-resistant. The interior of the Chest Expander is made of our synthetic wool, which is also used for our popular Sheepskin Shipping Halter. This makes it feel exceptionally soft.

In addition to the standard closure, there is also a Velcro closure to ensure that the Breast Expander stays in place.

Shape & size
This chest extender, quilted with vegan wool, adds 19 cm to the horse's chest. The distance between the two closures is 12 cm.

Maintenance tips
Machine washable
Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees Celsius. However, we recommend washing them as infrequently as possible and, when you do, using our laundry bags to preserve the quality of your item. We also recommend using professional washing machines (larger capacity) to minimize the damage caused by sticking. To dry, simply hang the product on a sunny day. Using the dryer is not recommended.
