What's special Our chest protector is ideal for horses that easily get rub marks on pressure points. The chest protector is used under a stable blanket, under rug, or rain sheet to prevent chafing. It is easy to put on, you just need to slide the chest protector over the horse's neck and fasten the Velcro closure behind the front legs.
Fabrics & materials The outer part of the chest protector is made of a blend of polyester and lycra. On the inside, the chest protector has a combination of lycra and our renowned artificial rabbit skin. The artificial rabbit skin is placed on the areas that are most susceptible to friction. There is a Velcro closure to secure the protector behind the front legs. Being made of lycra, the product easily adjusts to any body shape.
Shape & size The chest protector is available in four sizes: S, M, L, XL. It comes in one classic color, black.
Care guide Machine washable Most of our products are machine washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing them as little as possible and, when you do, using our wash bags to preserve the quality of your item in the long run. We also recommend using professional machines (larger capacity) to minimize clumping damage. To dry, simply hang the product on a sunny day. The use of a dryer is not recommended.
